My sketch book gives me great reason to go off gallivanting around Ireland. When you're lucky enough to live on an island that's consistently battered by the elements, it makes for some stunning views across the country.
Travelling around & sketching on location allows a fluidity to my work that's harder to come by in the studio. To get a real feel for a place I love to get out there, rain or shine.
